Once we shut down Wondershare, all was back to normal. Browsing the Web was nearly impossible while the app was running. Slows things down: While Wondershare Video Editor was running on our Mac, we noticed that all other running apps slowed down to the point that we had to force quit.
However, most users will be able to just jump in and use the app without any guidance. Help if you need it: An online help tutorial, a Get Started guide, and basic editing and effects tips are available. Just select the effect that you want, and it's applied to the video in a panel on the right side of the screen. Special effects: Wondershare Video Editor comes with a lot of fun effects that can easily be added to your videos, such as text in cartoon-like conversation bubbles, holiday themes, and even split screens. In a matter of minutes, we were uploading video files, adding text, and cutting scenes. Most video editors can be overwhelming to new users, but we found Wondershare very approachable.
